AB 692 Compliance Webinar

Tuesday, December 2, 2025 (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM) (PST)

Description

THE CALIFORNIA TRUCKING ASSOCIATION INVITES YOU TO A SPECIAL COMPLIANCE WEBINAR

Starting Jan. 1, 2026 - What Every Employer Needs to Know About AB 692 (Kalra)

Assembly Bill 692 authored by Assemblymember Ash Kalra takes effect on January 1, 2026 and introduces new prohibitions on employment contracts for workers under California law.

For employers this means your hiring practices, employment contract templates, bonuses or training cost arrangements, must all be re-examined to ensure compliance before January 1, 2026.

Under new law:

AB 692 prohibits employers from charging a debt if their employment relationship ends such as repayment of a training program.

This bill also changes the policy and conditions for repayment or clawback of bonuses or incentive pay after termination of employment.

During this webinar, Robert Roginson, attorney at Ogleetree Deakins law firm, will provided an overview of AB 692: what exactly is prohibited and what is still permitted.

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for Q & A.

Register Today!

January 1, 2026 is approaching fast. Stay compliant, protect your business, and keep your employment contracts and bonus policies legally sound.
